Myndos Gate Trip

It is of great importance for our children to get acquainted with history and culture, to discover stories from the past to the present. That’s why our school is 4. we would like to share with you the visit to the Myndos Gate that we have organized for the class students.

The Myndos Gate is an important part of the historical and cultural heritage of Bodrum. This gate, built in ancient times, was built as part of the walls of the ancient city of Myndos. The visit of our children to this historical building aims not only to develop their historical awareness, but also to enable them to acquire knowledge in many different fields.

Our children during the visit;
– They explore the historical and cultural heritage. They get information about the purpose of construction, historical significance and usage areas of the Myndos Gate.
– They develop observation skills. By studying the architectural features of the door, they gain the ability to notice the details of that period.
– They make connections between the past and the present. Dec. December. They think about the lifestyle and war strategies of antiquity and connect with their own lives.
– They make artistic and aesthetic evaluation. They develop their aesthetic understanding while evaluating the decoration and design of the door.
– They gain cultural awareness. They strengthen their feelings of tolerance and respect by trying to understand the cultures and values of societies that lived in ancient times.

Visiting the Myndos Gate is important not only for our children to see a historical structure, but also for them to establish ties with the past and protect their cultural heritage. We believe that this experience will not only increase our children’s knowledge, but also keep their interest and curiosity in history and culture alive.
